Dr. Nico Kriel
Dr. Nicolas (Nico) Kriel was born and raised in South Africa and graduated from the University of Pretoria in 1988. After residency he worked in private general practice for 7 years before relocating to Canada. He has worked for the last 23 years in Prince Albert, providing full comprehensive general practice.

Dr Kriel obtained his CCFP in 2001 and Fellowship in the Canadian College of Family Physicians-FCFP in 2012.

He has actively served on the Canadian College of Family Physicians from 2003 until 2014, including serving as the President of the Saskatchewan chapter of the College of Family Physicians of Canada from 2011-2013, working with Dr Gabruch and Dr Goluboff during this period of time. Their guidance and friendship is the reason he wanted to join the City Center Family Physician group.

Dr. Kriel's interest lies in full comprehensive family practice and minor surgical procedures including vasectomies, pre/post-natal care, and chronic disease management.

Dr. Kriel is married to a local Saskatchewan girl, who is a nurse, and together they have 4 children, 3 in Saskatoon in University/working, prompting the move to Saskatoon.

Dr. Kriel is an avid golfer-playing with a single handicap, and a sports fanatic, and living the KETO lifestyle.
